Overview.

Exhibition in-a-box is a discussion tool that recognises the role they play in shaping our experiences. Indeed, anthropologists, archaeologists, psychologists, designers and philosophers have for some years recognised and discussed the relationships between objects and meaning-making.

The box can be used as a research tool, as a way to bring groups and disciplines together, as a training mechanism, as a way to understand what is important to people, as an ice-breaker, as a discussion tool. It is not confined to or focused on a particular age group or population. Exhibition in-a-box offers a tool to promote conversation and discussion and as a way to build understanding of what people describe as being meaningful.
