Good Health Design – Design for Health Symposium 2019

Workshop Session C

Health as an interconnected system

Our healthcare system is based on the treatment of symptoms that impact on people’s health and wellbeing. Research is continually focussed on the cure of conditions and the management of health. Using the Manoa Method (Schulz, W. 2015), this workshop will focus on the interconnectivity of health to other societal systems that we depend on, such as food, water, transport, governance, faith. We will explore what we mean by health, and consider varying lenses through which we can view the future scenarios of our healthcare.
